Overview

The Production Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring production activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with operational capacity.

This role serves as a liaison between Production, Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, Quality, Finance, and IT to ensure seamless execution from order intake through final delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized and skilled at managing timelines across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on incoming orders and timelines

  • Coordinate production priorities to meet customer deadlines

  • Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and adjust schedules

  • Ensure optimal use of labor, materials, and equipment

  • Maintain accurate production data within ERP or project management systems

  • Serve as the central point of contact for production-related projects

  • Track project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables

  • Communicate status updates to stakeholders

  • Escalate risks, delays, or resource constraints proactively

  • Maintain documentation and project records

  • Partner with Sales to confirm order specifications and timelines

  • Coordinate with Procurement to ensure material availability

  • Align with Warehouse and Logistics on shipping schedules

  • Collaborate with Quality to resolve production issues

  • Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery and production efficiency

  • Prepare weekly production and status reports

  • Identify process improvements to enhance workflow

  • Work with IT to improve systems and tools

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Operations, Supply Chain, or related field preferred

  • 2–4+ years of experience in production coordination, project coordination, or operations

  • Experience in cross-functional environments

  • Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office

  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills

  • Manufacturing or operational experience preferred

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills

  • Analytical problem-solving ability

  • High attention to detail
